FR : Le site du projet se trouve en position centrale de « l’îlot du Canal » à Pavillons-sous-Bois. Il s’inscrit dans le renouvellement urbain de ce morceau de ville ne bénéficiant d’un cadre paysager qualitatif et d’une orientation optimale par rapport à la course du soleil.
Il est bordé au sud-est par le canal de l’Ourcq longé d’un axe de circulation piétonne et cycliste, au nord-est et au sud-ouest par deux sentes piétonnes, au nord-ouest de la nouvelle voie desservant le quartier.
Nous avons conçu notre projet de façon à créer un front urbain le long de la voie nouvelle et à proposer un maximum de vues depuis le cœur d’îlot sur le canal en utilisant la pente naturelle du terrain. Les bâtiments de hauteur limitée R+2 et R+3 préservant l’échelle domestique du cœur d’îlot sont tournés vers les quais. Les balcons sont majoritairement orientés vers le sud et le canal dans le prolongement des pièces de vie.
Les matériaux choisis pour marquer le soubassement et les boîtes en façade sont des matériaux naturels et pérennes : la brique noire et le bois pré-patiné. Chauffage au gaz pour les collectifs. Système de récupération des eaux pour l’arrosage.
UK : The project site is located in the central position of the « l’îlot du Canal » in Pavillons-sous-Bois. It is part of the urban renewal of this part of the city, which does not benefit from a qualitatively landscaped setting and an optimal orientation in relation to the course of the sun.
It is bordered to the south-east by the Ourcq Canal, with a pedestrian and cycle route running alongside, to the north-east and south-west by two pedestrian paths, and to the north-west by the new road serving the district.
We designed our project to create an urban front along the new road and to offer a maximum number of views from the heart of the block over the canal using the natural slope of the land. The buildings of limited height R+2 and R+3, which preserve the domestic scale of the core area, face towards the quays. The balconies are mainly oriented towards the south and the canal as an extension of the living rooms.
The materials chosen to mark the base and the boxes on the facade are natural and perennial materials: black brick and pre-patinated wood. Gas heating for the collectives. Water recovery system for watering.
