FR : La conception de la Cité Administrative Régionale de Guyane s’est faite selon deux principes majeurs qui ont guidé notre démarche d’intégration et de prise en compte du paysage :
Tout d’abord l’optimisation du fonctionnement du nouvel équipement par une disposition judicieuse des éléments du programme, par la recherche de la meilleure adaptation au site et au climat, par la création d’ensembles fonctionnels facilement identifiables et repérables.
Ensuite la mise en place d’un parti architectural permettant de donner une identité forte et marquée au nouvel établissement allié à des espaces de qualité favorisant les rencontres, les échanges et les animations.
Une architecture qui se caractérise également par sa simplicité et son évidence permettant d’établir une relation privilégiée sur le site au travers d’un parc alliant le minéral et le végétal.

EN : The design of the Regional Administrative Centre of French Guiana was based on two major principles that guided our approach to integrate and take into account the landscape:

First of all, the optimization of the use of the new facility by cleverly arranging the elements of the programme, by seeking the best adaptation to the site and the climate, and by creating functional units that are easily recognizable and identifiable.

Secondly, the implementation of an architectural design that gives the new establishment a strong and distinctive identity, combined with quality spaces that encourage gatherings, exchanges and activities.

The architecture is also characterised by its simplicity and clarity, allowing for a privileged relationship with the site through a park combining mineral and vegetation.
