FR : Le projet prend place sur une ancienne friche industrielle. La halle existante remarquable est en partie conservée : la structure en métal et le pignon caractéristiques sont rénovés et un bâtiment de logements intermédiaires aux volumes découpés et habillés de blanc pur est aménagé sous le squelette de la structure. Sur le reste du terrain, des bâtiments de logements collectifs neufs, de forme simple et aux matériaux rappelant le passé industriel du site sont projetés.
UK : This building stands on a former brownfield site. The remarkable factory building has been partially conserved: the characteristic iron structure and end wall have been renovated, and intermediate housing units have been created in a series of pure white blocks nestling under the skeleton of the structure. Elsewhere on the site, new residential buildings with simple shapes and materials recalling the site's industrial past are planned.
